Life seems to slow down a bit for sum and get busier for others I have noticed that I would like to freeze the odd moment and hold onto it for a while and savor it just a bit. I know I can’t but I really wish I could. For instance it was in April that my one son rode his bike all on his own for the first time..... After several fits of I can’t do it all the sudden he did it. There will never be a first time to ride a bike again for him. I was there and saw that. I watched two of my other boys pitch in Baseball for the first time, I wish I could say I knew they had it in them all along but the truth is they surprised dad... it was another first that won’t happen again. Just a few weeks back I had an opportunity to water baptize 28 people 26 of them where teens and pre-teens, If that was not cool enough 2 of those baptized where my boys, yet again another moment that is a first that won’t happen again. What all of this shows me is that life is moving, with a force that can’t be stopped. It is always moving forward, the world never looks back! It is aging and moving with rapid passion. There will be new moments but no opportunity to go back to old ones. I will always have those memories I shared with you because I was there! and I hope and pray God willing to be there for many many more! My blog today is for those who get stuck and refuse to move forward! they live in a past moment and can’t let it go! friends the truth is if you get stuck in the past you will never live in the present! An even greater tragedy is that your life is generating new moments as we speak, and if you are stuck on old one’s you will never be present in the moments that are happening now! I believe many of God’s people live here... stuck somewhere walking through life in a fog, friends we have been promised life and life more abundant! we need to embrace it all because weather we like it or not it is happening to us faster than we think! be intentional create memories that will last for you and your family for years to come! because life is Moving and soon it will be over! at least here!
